Apologies for the lack of news lately but we have been unwell here at Dog Explosion.
Unfortunately I have a low-grade Oligodendroglioma (brain tumour) that apparently has been slowly growing for 5-10 years. Low grade means that it is not malignant and can be operated on, most probably in 2024.
It's been frustrating to say the least to have to miss all the shows including Oxjam Beeston, JT Soar with Jess Brett and She, Robot and supporting Stuart Pearce Band at The Chameleon. It's also been very confusing mentally after having several seizures which alerted us to the problem.
All being well Dog Explosion will return with a lovely scar on the head to show off!
Thank you to all our friends who have sent kind comments on the Facebook and Instagram pages! I am now feeling much more like myself, getting used to anti-seizure medication.
See you soon hopefully!

All the talk lately has been along the lines of: "when will the release of the second Dog Explosion album will be and can I also and buy one or more of copies for myself and per household?"
Well, finally there is some updated news. The second album will be self-released and will be happening ASAP (as soon as possible).
The title of the second album will be Livin' Life and is planned as a physical limited edition CD as well as a download! We are very excited about it's release.
Any updates will be put on this website and the Dog Explosion Facebook Page.
